So I traced over this image of Takagi and Sato as a family and changed it to Yumi and Shukichi XD I really wanted to give Shukichi his glasses, but I was having a hard time so I left it as is. ^_^; I don’t like to trace, but for this I had to XD Between Yumi and Shukichi and Takagi and Sato, I really wonder who’s gonna get married and have kids first. hehe. Anyways, hope you like it XD
Yes, Shukichi is basically saying that he and Yumi were doing “it” the whole night last time she stayed over at his place. While proofreading this chapter, it led me to write this little joke dialogue:
Shukichi: “After all, you didn’t get any sleep because I was checkmating you with my gold general the whole night…” Yumi: “…”
And now I can’t stop the headcanon that Shukichi is using terribly forced Shogi metaphors and allusions for dirty talk, annoying Yumi to all hell XD

Since we haven’t heard from Takagi and Sato in awhile, (T___T) at least i have this to look forward to soon in the anime!! <3 ahhh i can’t wait to see it animated! ^-^ I adore them!
falls asleep on the couch: Miwako’s astonishingly lazy when she’s not on-duty and will fall asleep anywhere, not just the couch. Yumi’s pretty sure they bought a kotatsu solely for Miwako to nap under.
makes friends with the neighbors: Yumi is bubbles and sunshine with new people, though her secret motivation is immersing herself in the local gossip as fast as humanly possible
is the adventurous eater: Miwako will eat anything and often does, though it’s not so much adventurously exploring food as just being willing ot eat whatever’s put in front of her. Yumi’s a bit pickier.
hogs the covers at night: Yumi hogs, Miwako sprawls.
forgets to do the dishes: Both of them are so incredibly bad about this. They’ve gone through phases of just buying paper plates or eating a lot of takeout so they can just bin things instead of having to do dishes.
tries to surprise their partner more often: Miwako does manage to surprise Yumi on a regular basis, though “terrify with pranks” is probably a more accurate description.
leaves dirty laundry on the floor: How do you have so many nice skirtsuits when you treat them so terribly, Miwako?
stays up til 2 AM reading: Miwako is such a sucker for horror novels. She’ll stay up way too late reading them and then be completely unable to sleep, so she’ll give up and keep reading until dawn.
sings in the shower: It’s Yumi’s karaoke practice and it’s very important to her
takes the selfies: Yumi tags the entirety of Divison One in every selfie she takes with Miwako, just to rub it in their faces
plans date night: Yumi, usually, because Miwako will just pick the nearest ramen joint unless Yumi gets her out somewhere fancy
Random headcanon space: Yumi often leaves parking tickets on Miwako’s car, but they all say things like “infraction: being too damn cute. Fine: snuggles”
