Unforeseen dangers of bone collecting: my cat thinks this is for her.

Not unrelated, but unexpected, events in my evening: chasing down my cat to retrieve a leg bone of questionable origin.

Hello vulture community!

Recently, I have been cleaning skulls for some friends and I am having a difficult time figuring out the best way to degrease this skull:

The nose area has quite a bit of grease on the bone and I’m not sure what the best method would be to remove it. The rest of the skull is fine, it’s just that one stubborn spot.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to remove the grease I would be very appreciative! Thank you!!
