Welcome to Wednesday!! I have an update for the fans ofRun To You.
Don’t worry. The series is not going on hiatus or being abandoned. However, it will be delayed a little longer. I am so sorry. I never meant to start posting before I finished the story, but due to my magnificent procrastination skills, I had to post the first few chapters to meet deadlines for a challenge and bingo squares I used.
We’ve gotten to a tricky part in the tale, and I want to make sure that I don’t have any plot holes or miss a detail. So, it will be a couple of more weeks before the next chapter arrives. I want to finish the story before I start posting again. The concept and outline are there; I just need to fill in the blanks. The ending is already written…☺️
Here’s a little snippet that’s currently in one of the upcoming chapters.
The door opens, and he looks startled to see her. She pushes herself up, the sensation of pins and needles shoot up her spine, replacing the numbness, and she leans against the wall for support.
“Did you mean what you said earlier?”
He looks like a jungle cat ready to pounce. She nods, licking her lips.
“I need you to say it.” He growls, fingers furling and unfurling at his sides.

For WIP Wednesday, I’ve got a lil’ something in the works for a GIF drabble requested by @dean-winchester-is-a-warrior . I don’t know when it will be completed, but here’s a sneak peak!
A cool dampness along your brow had you stirring. But it was the hushed words overhead that had you peeling your eyes open.
The room had darkened considerably so that the yellow florescent lights haloed Dean’s head as he leaned over you.

I’m currently writing the next entry in my Dear Fucking Diary Series. I’m having a lot of fun writing it. Should be out by the end of this weekend, I think! I’m also working on Ch. 2 of my To Catch Lightning in a Bottle series, and just barely started Ch. 4 of The Quicksilver Princess.
But here is a little excerpt from the 12th entry of DFD.

Hey DD!
Okay. Ready for this?
I’m sitting on a beach in Hawaii. The water is this ridiculously beautiful blue green color, the sand is like silk, and the sun - well, okay the sun is blocked by the giant beach umbrella I’m sitting under because let’s face it, I’m still a sad, pale thing that bursts into flames like a vampire if I sit in the sun for too long.
So, I’m covered in SPF 600 and I’m sitting in the shade. But the air is still warm and heavy, and the breeze smells like the salty ocean and it is heaven on earth.
I almost didn’t make it here.
So, about three months ago, we got an invitation in the mail.
“Why the fuck are they getting married in Hawaii?” Dean asked as he read through the wedding invitation from Sam and Jess for the hundredth time, as though the information might change.

Here’s a little excerpt from the next chapter of A Supernatural Journey I have to edit :
I frowned but quickly realized we were the one who had actually made out in the kitchen and that Sam had teased me about it. He had without any doubt done the same thing to his brother.
Feeling myself blush at the memory, I lowered my head to avoid his gaze. My eyes fell on my hand still on Dean’s arm and quickly dropped it, breaking the physical touch between us.
I crossed my arms, hiding my hands under my armpits and turned away from him. I hadn’t paid attention to the way I was touching Dean more and more. But I was now remembering every time I had touched him in any way. And for me, letting my hands wander without even thinking about it on another human, without any thoughts behind, meant only one thing : I really liked that person.
