why is it both important and crucial to have a great mindset on mondays?

mondays are the start of a new week, aka your chance to have a new beginning and by having a great mindset it will automatically influence how your week will go
get rid of all the negativity, start your mondays with achievable goals and listen to yourself
clean and organized everything that will kill your productivity or your will/envy to work and be happy. being in peace with yourself is one thing but being in an environment that brings peace to you is another thing
read, watch, listen, or do anything that will inspire your day, motivate you and show you that you can choose to change for the better and use that week to start the actual change
kindness is what will bring you good and good only. everybody knows karma is a b****, so do good, be good and it will come back to you one day

happyhemostudies:

a list of small study tips

these are small things you can add to your day to be 10% more productive with the estimated time it’ll take! these are things i do (or try to do) most days. they’re small enough to feel manageable, and i for sure don’t use all of them but i find that when i use at least 2-3 in a day i feel a lot better about the material.

  1. retype notes in google docs (10-15 min/1 hour lecture)
  2. Utilize pomodoro technique for at least one subject (25 min work/5 min break. total 30 min)
  3. Look over notes before class (5 min)
  4. Look over notes after class (5 min)
  5. Make notecard summary after class (i find this one especially useful for calculus!) (10 min/notecard)
  6. Explain short concept to a friend (10 min max)
  7. write down to-do list of tasks (5 min)
  8. Go over concepts in your head on your walk to class (absolute FAVORITE because of my daily calculus quizzes within the first 10 minutes of class) (as long as your walk is!)

i hope these are helpful, i need to learn more small tips myself too

Why is it always nothing due or 7 assignments due in a week? Seriously they need to spread out more, they are killing me right now. And please save me in organic chemistry, I swear I would cry in happiness even if I barely pass.

Yep, I’m back again. I am home during these times to be with my family and actually have some company. And also, I’ve started writing my masters thesis officially now. Still waiting on some results from the past semester. So far, I haven’t gotten the greatest marks, but I’ve passed all of my exams..

I’m still trying to figure out new routines during my time at home and I feel like I’m not always best at motivating myself to do some work. However, I’m moving forward and searching my way through the jungle that is online literature (Since all libraries are closed which may be a problem over time…) But for now, this will have to be enough, and I have lots of material which i can work with, so I guess I’ll be fine!
