So I have this thought, and that is: in the Bible, usually the “repent and turn from your wicked ways” was directed at people who were claiming to follow God already but were really not in their hearts, while the “good news” was proclaimed to the rest of the world. And I think today Christians get it wrong because they go all “repent and turn from your wicked ways” on people outside Christianity, when they really should be going “hey I have some really good news for you” and I think that’s at least partially why Christians have such a bad reputation in the world. Because people outside Christianity don’t need to be told “you’re evil and my religion is the only cure”, they need to be told good news like “hey you feel hopeless here’s some hope!”
Instead of leaking celebrity photos we could leak pdf versions of college textbooks? Idk just an idea

❓ Should we ask consent whenever we open up to others?
I think it’s perfectly fine to open up to people but if what we will share is quite heavy, I do think it is best to ask consent from the other person if he or she has the headspace to take your problem in. This is because whenever we open up to others, we share our stories and give them a piece of us that they will carry. Sometimes, our friends are not yet ready to carry that weight so it’s best to know their boundaries and continue to build safe spaces for everyone. This is also my point-of-view on romantic confessions but I’ve heard from a podcast episode once that romantic confessions are more for the person who confessed and not much for the person they confessed to. I think that’s also quite a unique perspective to look into.
Life lately: Our university is currently on a wellness break and I am taking this time to work on my piling tasks instead of resting. The tendencies of a workaholic.

What can you write in a journal for mental health?
Recently I was looking for some stickers and I found a tiny journal. I’m thinking of using it for mental health purposes.
These are the things I’ll write in it:
- Quotes that I find very motivational
- Moments from books that inspire me.
- Reasons why I like myself
- Reasons why others like me
- How I have improved my life with tiny changes
- Short plans on how to achieve certain goals or how to change things
- Bucket lists~
- Things that make me happy
- Character analysis for characters that inspire me and what traits I want to adopt from them
- Stuff that my friends said and they stuck with me over the years, motivational or just compliments
- My favorite coping mechanisms
- Compliments/encouraging words towards my person when I feel like giving up or when my self-esteem is down

Here’s to the last round! Survived yesterdays exam, next one is on friday! There’s a hell lot to study for, so i’m gonna spend the next two days cramming madly. I’ll be so relieved when this will finally be over! My body is reacting to all the sugar and coffee already - and not in good ways. So i need to reduce that consuming again after this, so that i can stay healthy. Hope you’re all doing good, don’t make the same mistakes than i do! Stay healthy and motivated xx
I‘ll have my last day of lectures on Monday. How do i cooe?
