#runners
Alas, there is a hole in my heart where the Rio 2016 track and field proceedings use to be.
Yesterday’s run was probably the last of this years snow runs. Happy girl and happy pup
Oh the excitement of new shoes I really am easily pleased
2018 it’s been interesting. There’s been high highs and crushing lows. But 1700km has allowed for a lot of self reflection, discovery and growth. Here’s to 2019, hopefully with many more miles and memories, and a few more highs and less lows. Too much to aim for a hospital free year?
Tough morning for me this morning at the osteopath. Facial work is always sore!
Safe to say I’ve been getting some odd looks today
So one genius slept through her alarms this morning and missed her run and was like a bear with a headache for the morning because of it.
I managed to salvage it this afternoon by tagging on to a friends 10km so got some bonus miles! For once I left the phone behind, enjoyed the conversation and learned that yes I do need a headtorch for late afternoon runs (spot the morning runner!).
Where my runners at? ♀️♀️♀️
Never laughed so hard whole running before. Kevin Hart teams up with the Nike Run Club app to coach us through some interval running. This is so good y'all, and completely free. You need dis!
I need to remember this
That first pic was brought to you by two workouts, a projector, my home “gym” and two FREE amazing apps. Nike Run Club and Nike Training Club. They have plans and categories you can explore, you can stream music from spotify as you go through the guided programs. I did a guided treadmill run and followed up with some yoga all casted from my phone onto the projector. I used Nike’s premade playlist for the run and a generic “yoga” playlist for the yoga. Highly recommend looking into these free apps. Nothing to lose really!
It’s never gonna feel like the “best” time or the “right” time. Just get up and DO it!
