i’m sorry i’ve been making this stupid joke everywhere but i think i’m funny so i’m subjecting everyone to it
i realized i didn’t put this on tumblr so on it goes as well. i screwed up the tail proportions and it bothered me, so i made slugcat a new tail and sewed it on. i did have to cut the old one off, which was nervewracking, but i found a way to ensure that it wouldn’t just unravel after i snipped it off. i was actually going to slide the new tail over the old one (once it was cut off) and sew it on like i would other things, but the stump started folding, so i switched methods and just sewed it end to end. so now slugcat has this thick scar around its butt where the new tail was attached. i kind of don’t like the look of it, but on the other hand, stuff like this adds charm, no?
it was a good exercise either way and i’m glad i had a go at it. it’ll probably never stop being scary to take a pair of scissors to an already finished project, but now i have the experience to know it’s not going to fall apart when i do, and i have ways to sew it back together. and i like the length of the new tail much better. it almost kind of looks like a regrown gecko tail, which is fitting because i adore geckos hdjdhs
You will find that Rain World is one of those games that I will continue to draw no matter how long it’s been since I lasted played it. For some reason I find comfort in drawing the little sluggy cat.
Yeet! Just remembered that I haven’t posted any art yet this week or last week. Let me change that right quick with some of my recent drawings! I’m going to split them up so you can like the specific drawings (so many different shows and games!!!). Hopefully it will make them easier to search for too.
Hey besties ask me stuff because I’m unmotivated to do art rn stress too high speaking of high did you know that in rain world there’s this glowing mushroom you can eat to be faster (by that I mean the game slows down and you move around slightly faster than everything else for a bit) and the name for the plant is just “drug” anyways look at this slug cat animation I made like a day ago it sucks but I wanted to make floating things and the hunter is impossible for me to beat I don’t have the motivation I just keep dying on hard mode speaking of hard mode why do some games insist on being impossible to beat I like rainworld because of the cool graphics and physics and lore and stuff not the fact that it’s hard , if I weren’t playing it on the switch I’d be getting some sort of easy mode mod or something so I can enjoy my game without being reminded of the hell these poor slug cats go through like literally just make your games more accessible to people you don’t hurt anyone by giving an easy mode or tutorial (and before anyone says monk is easy that’s literally only because they have less hunger points I can’t get lore pearls or anything out of it anyways, at the very least make it a bit faster or something ig it’s just survivor with less hunger and no lore) (I say all this as if I’m not one of the like, three people in the rainworld fandom here)
Anyway other than all that any questions in general or about art or something else I wanna say things

OK I’m sorry for not posting as much scp content as usual, I’m in a stressful situation rn, but recently I got dragged back into the rainworld fandom and decided to make this thing, if there are any rain world mod makers you can make this into a mod if you’d like just saying I wouldn’t stop you and would actually like to see any ocs or mods or whatever made from this type of slugcat vulture mix (but don’t use my art as some sort of base or trace over it or repost it or anything like reblogs are good but not reposting the images)
