1.) Commaful – a friendly and supportive writing community, smaller but denser than Wattpad, and far more active and engaging.
2.) FictionPress – original fiction’s answer to FanFiction.net. If you’re familiar with that format, you’ll be familiar with this.
3.) Smashwords – an ebook publishing platform that also welcomes short stories, and collections thereof.
4.) WritersCafe – old-school but solid, with an active community and plenty of contests/challenges to get the creative juices pumping.
5.) Medium – a place where you can post, essentially, anything and everything. Articles and non-fiction are its biggest market, but fiction is welcome as well.
6.) Booksie – less community-based, with fewer interactions and comments. However, it still attracts great talent, and can be great for authors who are shy and don’t want to get bombarded with interaction.
7.) RoyalRoad – a rich community, with a strong emphasis on mutual support between authors. Focuses on web novels, fanfiction, and original stories.
8.) FanStory – an oldie but a goody. Don’t be fooled by the name – it seems to be predominantly original fiction, and offers contests with cash prizes.
9.) Young Writers Society – as the name suggests, oriented towards writers in their teens and twenties, but is by no means exclusive to authors of this age bracket.
10.) Wattpad – Wattpad provides users with the opportunity to post original fiction and gain a loyal following. It’s not for everyone, but some people swear by it.
On that note, you can also post original fiction to AO3 and FanFiction, but as they are predominantly for fan works, I decided not to include them on this list. What’s your favorite way to post original fiction?

Until now, suggested tags were automatically generated when a user searched your blog via the new blog view, or from the blog archive. However, over time this list of tags may have diverged from your blog’s real interests. This isn’t always practical, especially for blogs that have been around for a while, with tags from deleted posts still showing up. Now, you can set your top tags to whatever you want them to be in your Popular Tags and Blog Archive Page. #Squop, #glongo, #plip? All acceptable.
Why this change?
This feature has been widelyrequested. We understand that you have all grown with Tumblr over the years, and your interests will have probably changed, too. Some of you find the presence of old tags in your top tags list uncomfortable; for some, they interfere with the sense of order on your blogs. Others are simply excited about new customization options.
Cool—how do I use featured tags?
On web: Head to the account icon in the top-right corner of your dash, and select “Edit Appearance” from the drop-down menu for the blog you want to add featured tags to. Click on the pen icon next to “Featured Tags” to add up to 10 tags of choice. These will now appear in your popular tags in the blog view and be listed in your archive.
Featured tags will be available to everyone on the web from today, April 19. We’re also currently working on a rollout to iOS and Android.

So since my fic is coming to an end, and it’s received so many more viewers than I ever expected, I’m going to shoutout some of my favourite patho fics that I’ve read or am currently reading, since so many writers in this fandom are BRILLIANT and I’d love to give them some more attention. I really haven’t made it through a lot of fic, so this list is rather limited (and has a LOT of burakhovsky, but not all). In the og design he’s standing on his hind legs but the look of his hands look like they are for digging and climbing he has dense fur and smaller eyes with a large pupil this implies that this little man might live underground in a tunnel system a lovely little wild animal be kind and respectful or he will bite
But in the anime they fucking domesticated him his eyes are larger with a smaller pupil and his poor diggers are fatty with no muscle his fur is also a lot thinner this means over the years people selectively bred them into surface animals and to be kept as a cute pet the poor thing probably can’t even stand on his own anymore stuck with kuribohs second fail-safe method of travel floating
Kuribohs floating is a defensive behavior to keep babies safe from tunneling bugs and parasites and later when digging if the kuriboh accidentally dug into an empty pocket they could float to safety BUT THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO FLOAT ALL TIME it’s bad for their bones and muscles this forced behavior and inbreeding has completely overridden with osteoporosis and hypotonia
Please stop the inbreeding and mistreatment of kuribohs and help support the conservation of wild kuribohs

Sangans have longer limbs, sharper talons, finer hair and a third eye while sangans were discovered after kuribohs there is evidence that sangans have been around for longer sangans also unlike kuribohs sangans can not float willingly sangans will only float after falling.

I wanted to know what the different parts and layers of the Fire Lord’s Robes are, so here’s my best guess as to what makes it up. Note, I’m just a person with google who only knows English. I know very little about Asian cultures (or any culture really), so I definitely got some parts wrong. If you’re interested I highly suggest you check out some of the references I have at the end.

I’ve been making this for a while but haven’t really posted about it - but I have a notion database of aro & ace books! it’s sorted into various sections and has notes on the representation. This is also specifically books I have read.
Everyone has their own ideas for a Scooby Doo reboot series, so I figured I’d share mine too.
1: The Scooby Doo crew work for a larger agency, one that they share with Butch and The Sundance Kids, the Speed Buggs, the Funky Phantom crew, the Teen Angels, and Blue Falcon and Dynomutt. Mr. Socrates gives them orders to solve mysteries.
2: There will be both fake and real ghosts. Because it just works to have both fake and real ghosts in a Scooby Doo series.
3: Instead of the cliched Fred/Daphne, and Shaggy/Velma pairings, the pairings will be Mark/Fred, Debbie/Daphne, Tinker/Shaggy, and Velma/Stephanie.
4: The Scooby Gang, The Sundance Kids, the Funky Phantom crew, the Teen Angels and the Speed Buggs all work in the same group. This will make the show have a bigger variety of characters, and the dynamics would be endless!
5: Mr. Socrates would be an android, instead of a computer like in the original Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kids. That way, he could travel with the group if needed.
6: Vincent Van Ghoul will be the team’s mysterious mentor, and he’ll help them out in a pinch.
7: Redeem Scrappy Doo. Give him a character arc, where he first starts off as reckless and wanting to impress his uncle, but after bad things happen, he realizes that he needs to be more cautious, and that he doesn’t have to impress anyone in order to stand out. Also, Scrappy would stand on all fours.
8: Character Arcs for everyone, ESPECIALLY BUTCH! Considering how in a few episodes of the original Butch Cassidy cartoon, he nearly gets killed because of some rather reckless actions, I would actually like to see him also learn not to be so reckless.
9:Story Arcs.
10: Angst, but for Pete’s sake, NOT MYSTERY INCORPORATED LEVEL ANGST. I don’t want them to be the bitter and spiteful characters that the Mystery Incorporated versions of the Scooby gang are.
11: Backstories for everyone, but especially for the Speed Buggs and the Sundance Kids. Butch probably started out as a timid boy who was constantly bullied because of his name, and as such, he was too scared to make friends, until he met Wally.
12: Have Fred, Butch, and Augie all argue about who leads the team while everyone else just rolls their eyes. Perfect comedy, but don’t let it get anywhere near the level of Guess Who’s Funky Phantom episode.
13: Shaggy becomes a werewolf, but he STAYS a werewolf. This could be interesting character development for Shaggy if done right, which Warner Brothers probably wouldn’t do right.
14: Cameos, Crossovers, and References to other Hanna Barbera shows, as well as other shows like Gilligan’s Island, would be included.
15: Mudsy being a protective father figure towards the group. Mr. Socrates would also be a father figure towards the group, and I can already picture him scolding Butch for doing something reckless.
16:Shaggy being an athlete would be referenced more often.
17:Scooby’s family , and Elvis’s family [which would include Goober from Goober and The Ghost Chasers] would make lots of appearances.
18:Lots and Lots of Lore!
This would basically be like an improved version of SCOOB, but as a series.
