I’m so proud of how this one turned out and so crazy happy I got asked to do another one, I cannot believe I got paid to draw a line up of my favorite characters! I’m so happy with it!
He’s (almost comically) scared of everything due to an accident in his youth with his mother’s magic items. He’s struggled in life because of it, and has a rough time interacting with people. So he tends to do a lot of night shifts doing physical labor since there’s a lack of human interaction.
He volunteered for the Synth Knight program in Ezry hoping the alterations would give him a better understanding of magic, and erase his fears. He was wrong and instead gained access to magic that suppresses all fear, worry, doubt. In his ‘dread’ form he exudes a magical aura, and a cruelty and confidence he normally lacks.
He’s stuck as a D-Rank Knight due to his difficulty working with people whether he’s afraid or in his dread form. He’s a very capable fighter handicapped by his own fears and paranoia.

Vinny is normally a wallflower, so I like the idea of his charisma modifier being -4 and changing to +4 when he’s suppressing his fear through magic.

emily axford is such a talented composer and no one ever says how good she is and how much her music adds to naddpod . it would literally be a different show with out it and she deserves the world
