A moth cryptid named Cairo has appeared with a few friends!!!
Inspiration gift I did a while back ago for @skyesrandomdoodles of their oc, Cairo! I love Cairo as a cryptid soo I felt inspired to draw him and add a few mythical moth like friends too! I had a blast working on this!!! ✨
Wanted to draw Mew after I got a plush of it from my favorite GameStop at my favorite mall the other day. I’m starting to love with how this came out more and more, even the background!

Cyclops from David Larkin’s Giants, illustrated by Julek Heller, Carolyn Scrace, and Juan Wijngaard (I’m almost certain this painting is by Heller). I love the bestial appearance; it almost looks like a cross between a Cyclops and a Manticore.

The Babylonian origin goddess Tiamat as depicted by Carolyn Scrace in Gerald Legg’s X-Ray Picture Book of Incredible Creatures. Her scale and configuration here puts me in mind of a GMO or even Mythos biosphere-seeding machine, a kind of monstrous Last Universal Common Ancestor.
