Today I have a day off Also, I decided to return back this plant to my study table
21.4.2017 I’m back from a hugely busy Easter holidays! I’m so sorry I haven’t been posting - I’ve made so many drafts and taken a lot of photos but not posted them! I’m back at uni now so expect much more from me again, especially as this is the lead up to my final exams! Xxx Emily

23/3/17 I’m working on a physical geography practical write up right now about glaciers and it’s really tricky because I’m not sure how I should be answering the questions! It’s due in at 2pm, and its 10am now so I’m going to knuckle down and get it done. I pressed a flower I picked the other week, and its sitting next to my thermos today. It has the quote that inspired the name for this blog on it! Yesterday I got a helix piercing and went and read the lord of the rings in the gardens, so it was a really nice day, but I didn’t get much work done! xxx emily

Trying to stay awakkkkeeee
a cold morning in baltimore :) went and grabbed a delicious frozen latte from my favorite local coffee shop, baltimore coffee & tea! todays coffee is the starry night latte, which has chocolate, toffee, and hazelnut syrup. happy studying!
online school is definitely weird lol i’m watching a recording from last year for a lecture that’ll be presented tomorrow again

it’s been a minute since i posted on here! i’ve been using my studygram a lot more but i’m going to try and do both! i’m studying for my last genetics exam of the semester today and just trying to push through to the end of this weird semester/year :) today i’m drinking a hazelnut latte which i made using my stovetop bialetti moka (which i am addicted to now)
some anki flashcards for all your microscopy identification needs :) this anki deck is actually linked on my blog if you’re studying for a microbiology/intro bio course and need to learn how images appear under different microscopes!
made a little study tracker/schedule on notion using a kanban board template they have and i love it! so satisfying and organized. i have a genetics exam coming up in 2 weeks that i really want to get an A on so i’m studying hard :)
today, i made iced coffee with hershey’s chocolate caramel creamer!
started making my OWN coffee again so this is just a hazelnut iced coffee (still very yummy and didn’t cost $5)

why is it both important and crucial to have a great mindset on mondays?
mondays are the start of a new week, aka your chance to have a new beginning and by having a great mindset it will automatically influence how your week will go
get rid of all the negativity, start your mondays with achievable goals and listen to yourself
clean and organized everything that will kill your productivity or your will/envy to work and be happy. being in peace with yourself is one thing but being in an environment that brings peace to you is another thing
read, watch, listen, or do anything that will inspire your day, motivate you and show you that you can choose to change for the better and use that week to start the actual change
kindness is what will bring you good and good only. everybody knows karma is a b****, so do good, be good and it will come back to you one day

8/100 Days of Productivity
Today was MySQL day! My teacher gave us an activity to perform during this weekend to present next Thursday and I almost finished it all ✌It is 80% ready! I just couldn’t finished it once my stomach wasn’t good yesterday, so I had to rest a lot.
I also started the other activity from Java school and prepared myself a little for the interview I will have tomorrow for a trainee job in the same company providing the Java course *-* OMG I am praying so hard for this work, the company seems to be great. Well, let me rest a bit now!

7/100 Days of Productivity
Saturday ❤ I love Fridays and Saturdays, they are my favorite days since I was little. Today I have a lot of stuff to do, as I am coming to the final days of my Java School with the MJV company and we will have to make a big final project with Java integrated with a web page.
I am liking Java more than I thought I would, and I think there is something here, as I could understand Programming Logic much better with C++ than with JavaScript. Oh my… am I a back-end programmer instead of a front-end programmer? Well, HTML, CSS and JS were my first contact with programming, I thinks that made me think that was my path, but I can be wrong, right?
All I know now is that I like Java and the market likes it too, so, if this will be my door to start for real in the tech world, so be it .
