SCANDAL; “SCANDAL Wows The Audience in SCANDAL’s "Kumamoto Special”, on the First Day in their 47 Prefecture Tour"
SCANDAL started their first-ever 47-prefecture tour,「SCANDAL TOUR 2017『SCANDAL’s 47-Prefecture Tour』」, with their performance at Kumamoto’s Kumamoto B.9 V1, on 11th March today.
This tour is in relation to the band’s best album,「SCANDAL」, that was released in February, as a commemoration to the band’s 10th year anniversary since forming. It has been about 2 years, since they were in Kumamoto for the year 2015 hall tour. SCANDAL had generously performed popular songs, as chosen by fans and recorded within their best album.
HARUNA (Vo, G) said,「For this round’s tour, we definitely all thought of wanting to welcome its first day in Kumamoto」. She also shed light on the day’s setlist, saying that it was a「Kumamoto Special」that is limited to the day only. During the MC in the middle of the live, they not only wowed the audience with a call-and-response performance segment, using a CM song that’s aired in Kumamoto, but also enveloped the venue in heated energy from start to finish.
SCANDAL will be performing a total of 53 shows on this tour. The tour final will take place on 17th July, at Tokyo’s Toyosu PIT.

For today’s setlist, the band performed older tunes, such as S.L. Magic, Awanai Tsumori no Genki Dene, and Koe, to new songs such as FREEDOM FIGHTERS.
The band are on their way to Miyazaki, and will perform a one-man live there for the first time tomorrow!

Yowamushi Pedal the Movie Special Event: EXTRA RIDE
An event that is specially held not only for fans, but also for the people in Kumamoto Prefecture who suffers because of the earthquake.
This event will be held on May 15th 2016 in Maihama Amphitheatre (Chiba Prefecture). Sohoku Team seiyuu(s) will also come as guests. There will be a fundraising for people in Kumamoto there (the donation will be used for helping the people in Kumamoto). We all hope the reconstruction of the affected area would be done as fast as possible.

I got a question about groups/classes/anything where Japanese people can go to improve their English in the Kumamoto Area. A JET’s Japanese boyfriend wants to study harder, but they’re searching around for opportunities and coming up empty handed.
