Okay so I may have skipped summer, but not on purpose; I was just very busy. But lets get the ball rolling…Hello fall, you’ve been missed and all eyes on Fendi. Let’s talk about TAILORING & FUR. I’m all about this turtleneck (I don’t care what you say). Nothing says luxury like a jacket made out of some type of animal and fur accents (I’m assuming croc, sorry PETA). What I’m most in love with are those knit sweaters, I love me a good ole chunky knit; and those colors are amazing: camel, hunter green, grey, navy, and those pixilated grey and purple. Color blocked leather and wool jacket that is all. My favorite piece from this collection is that amazing/to die for Navy trench coat with the quilted accents, a must have for every guy. And you guys’ speckled textures are in and they look amazing when they are made into suits. But what I really want you take from this whole collection is that black is in this fall and it’s going to be everywhere, black is the new black aka black is back. Run to Bergdorf Goodman’s Men Store and stock up on some Fendi.
I know the second pic is cluttered and ugly but I can’t be bothered to clear my desk atm. Anyways I’m madly in love with this beautiful green yarn and making it into a sweater.
Unfortunately I was not thinking when I made this commission so I did not write everything down.
I’ve reverted back to make-it-up-as-i-go mode, but I do have the charts, so if there is enough interest I will included it in the Mountain Range Sweater Pattern sizes. Test knitting it will be good practice for my impending baby.
This was the softest yarn I’ve ever worked with and I plan on making a lot more out of it!
Malabrigo Arroyo is a 100% superwash merino sport weight that is so soft to knit with, but it does relax more than what I would expect a superwash merino to do so your project will come out longer than expected. Gauging helps, but the weight of an actual sweater did cause some draping.
I’m not modeling this one because of my growing baby bump :)
I designed a sweater pattern forDaruma! It was so much fun and the yarn was beautiful to knit with. They took some amazing photos of the finished sweater!
I try to learn something new with each project. This time I’m knitting the sleeves simultaneously… Not sure if I like this method, but it was worth a try.
I taught myself to knit so that I could make tiny sweaters for my tiny plushies. They are finally here, after months of trial and error, learning, relearning, and pattern attempts.
