Celebrity Tarot

I will do a 1 card reading from my Starman Tarot deck for any celebrity you want to know something about. I read through Spirit, which might be different from other readers.

I will tell you not only what I see in the card, but any words or phrases I hear, whatever vision is conjured, what emotions are evoked and what they tell me about the situation and person(s) in it.

Send me an ask about the celebrity you want to know about! Anyone past or present!

Tasseography (also known as tasseomancyortassology) is a divination or fortune-telling method that interprets patterns in tea leaves, coffee grounds, or wine sediments.

The terms derive from the French word tasse (cup), which in turn derives from the cognate Arabic word tassa, and the Greek suffixes -graph (writing), -logy (study of), and -mancy (divination).

Divination attempts to gain insight into the natural world through intuitive interpretation of synchronistic events.

The first inklings of Western tasseography can be traced to medieval European fortune tellers who developed their readings from splatters of wax, lead, and other molten substances. This evolved into tea-leaf reading in the seventeenth century, a short time after Dutch merchants introduced tea to Europe via trade routes to China.

Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England have produced a number of practitioners and authors on the subject, and English potteries have crafted many elaborate tea cup sets specially designed and decorated to aid in fortune-telling. Cultures of the Middle East that practice divination in this fashion usually use left-over coffee grounds from Turkish coffee/Lebanese coffee/Greek coffee turned over onto a plate.

Midnight Sun Fortune-Telling Magic

You’ll need:

  • A bonfire
  • Any of the following herbs: sage, mugwort, heliotrope, tobacco leaf
  • A journal and a pen

In some areas, particularly those in far northern latitudes, June 22nd is celebrated as the day of the midnight sun. It’s the point in the year when there are 24 hours of light, and in a lot of magical traditions this makes it a perfect date to do a bit of magical fortune-telling. You may not live in a place that’s illuminated all day long, but around the time of the summer solstice, you’re getting plenty of sunlight, to do a bit of divination in the hour right before full darkness descends.

As a sunset beyond the horizon, lights your bonfire. Take a moment to get a good blaze going, then toss the herbs into the fire. Close your eyes, and breathe in the fragrance of all the herbs, all of which are associated with divination. Focus on the questions you have about the future, then open your eyes and look into the flames. What do you see? Shapes? Patterns? Figures of people or animals? Write down what you observe so you can remember it later. Once you feel like you’re no longer seeing anything new, allow the fire to go out on its own. Take some time to think about what you’ve seen, and how does images relate to your question.
