I don’t know what I love more about this exchange. The fact that both Kaito and Shinichi say the exact same thing. The fact that Nakamori does take both these kids and their ideas serious but also questions where they may lead him. The fact that Nakamori takes the idea to the respective other party to discuss. The fact that both Kaito and Shinichi are little shits who troll Nakamori by questioning his intelligence like that. Or the fact that you could read this exchange as Shinichi and Kaito instinctively recognizing each other’s ideas, even when they are presented by Nakamori.

Either way, it is brilliant and I love everything about it.
