Caravaggio living paintings by Ludovica Rambelli Theater
This never ceases to amaze me, no matter how many times I’ve seen it.
Video Description: Several takes where a group of people dress up, and then assemble themselves into multiple tableaus of famous paintings. The camera then pans across the painting a few moments before cutting to them in different costumes, enacting a different painting.
I don’t know the names or artists of any of these paintings, adding this knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

All scenes are from paintings by the Italian Baroque painter Caravaggio. I believe I have identified the paintings depicted, in order as: The Entombment of Christ, Judith Beheading Holofernes, The Flagellation of Christ, The Martyrdom of Saint Matthew, Annunciation, Rest on the Flight into Egypt, The Raising of Lazarus, Saint Francis of Assisi in Ecstasy, and Bacchus.
The Incredulity of Edward Teach after Stede gets run through in episode 6.
Don’t worry Stede doesn’t know why but he likes it.
