This server has become extremely toxic and hostile. People have been flagged/warned constantly for discussing completely inane, normal topics. It is not a safe or welcoming space. You literally cannot mention anything on the following very extensive blacklist anywhere on this server, or you will be threatened by the moderators.
- Food (yes, food in general. Of any kind. In any context.)
- Christmas (despite the BHC holiday special - they even made a specific channel to containerize and censor holidays of any kind)
- Boku no Hero Academia/My Hero Academia
- Crabs. It does not specify what variety.
- Dangan Ronpa
- Deviantart (yes, the art site. Do not mention it at all apparently. Good luck trying to share art from there.)
- Crossdressing (this is amazingly homophobic)
- IRL children under 8 years old (specifically. If they’re 9 then do what you want I guess)

- Poetax (literally the person. Also very sorry. You’re a very nice person.)

@owl-bonesand@bonelyheartsclub honestly I’m surprised that some of your staff are in here supporting this amazingly toxic and exclusive environment, and that you’ve all let this viper pit essentially be the ‘official’ BHC server. Several of my friends and staff do not feel welcome in this server at all and felt bullied when there. The blacklist is unrealistic and ridiculous. It has been described as “walking through a mine field”, and I have to agree. We don’t deserve to be treated and censored in this way.
UPDATE: Apparently if you agree with this post in any fashion, you will be banned from the server. Fair warning. It is happening right now. The mods are on a scorched earth campaign to ban those who say anything, as they are acting like tyrants running a fascist regime and execute all BHC citizens who dare to speak their minds.
Some of the replies to this post had perfectly described my own thoughts about this whole situation. There is a thin line between taking people’s squicks and triggers into consideration and being overwhemingly controlling.
I agree that having trigger lists is real helpful in DMs and in smaller group chats/servers but not in a big ass server like this one. I have some real specific triggers, one of which is an actual name, and I can’t imagine people skirting around me and not using it or having to censor their own name hhh.
I have many other thoughts about this mess but my main point of this post is - Zwaggy, you don’t deserve this sweetie ;-; You’ve supported this game a lot, made a ton of content and praised it so much… being singled out like this and then being blacklisted, it’s an awful thing to experience. Have millions of hugs my dude, bless your heart and soul.
